Richard "Rich" Fabian joined FUJIFILM SonoSite in January, 2017, bringing more than 20 years of Healthcare leadership experience. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Rich leads all aspects of the global business. Prior to joining FUJIFILM SonoSite, Rich served with Philips Healthcare for 15 years where he held various executive leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America, Vice President and General Manager of a Global Business Unit, and Vice President of Marketing for Imaging Systems. He built high performing teams that consistently delivered strong business results. Rich earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Vandana Slatter

Vandana Slatter, PharmD

Washington State Representative, 48th District


Dr. Vandana Slatter currently serves on three House committees: College & Workforce Development; Innovation, Technology & Economic Development; and Transportation (2nd Vice Chair). She is also Co-chair of the Science, Technology and Innovation Caucus, and serves on the Future of Work Task Force, the Electric Airplane Working Group, and the Sustainable Aviation Biofuels Work Group. Her public service activities include advocacy for access to medicine, healthcare, and education. She currently serves on the UW Evans School Advisory Board. In 2007, Vandana was appointed by Governor Gregoire to a four-year term on the Washington State Board of Pharmacy. Prior to being elected to the Bellevue City Council in 2015, Vandana worked for over 20 years as a clinical scientist in leading biotech/pharma companies Amgen, Genentech/Roche, UCB Pharma & Pharmacia/Pfizer. She also worked as a hospital pharmacist at Battle Creek Health Systems in Michigan


Bjong Wolf Yeigh

Bjong Wolf Yeigh, PhD

Chancellor, University of Washington Bothell


Bjong Wolf Yeigh (pronounced "YAY") was named UW Bothell's third chancellor on May 21, 2013. Prior to joining UW Bothell, Yeigh was professor and president of SUNYIT, the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome. During his tenure at SUNYIT, he secured $15.5 million capital grants for cybersecurity and nanotechnology programs and led the effort to gain two rounds of funding for regional economic development projects totaling $119.9 million. Working in partnership with the University at Albany, a $240 million nanotechnology partnership was secured. Overseeing the largest expansion of the campus to date, he guided the building of more than $100 million in capital projects. He holds the following degrees: M.A. and Ph.D. in civil engineering and operations research from Princeton University; M.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University; A.B. in engineering science from Dartmouth College; and a graduate certificate in science and technology policy from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.


Cheryl Roberts

Cheryl Roberts, EdD

President, Shoreline Community College


Cheryl Roberts, Ed.D. serves as the eighth President of Shoreline Community College, a position she has held since August 2014. On Seattle’s doorstep, Shoreline is recognized for The Honors College, its close relationship with key universities across the nation, including the University of Washington, and groundbreaking professional/technical programs such as health science, automotive, clean energy, biotech, and music technology. Dr. Roberts previously served as President of Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon for seven years and in other leadership positions in Oregon and the Seattle area as: vice president, dean, director, instructor, trainer, and visiting professor. Dr. Roberts has led at the national, too, serving on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and has served as chair of the Association’s Commission on Communications, as well as, co-chair of the Commission on Economic and Workforce Development. She currently serves on the AACC’s Commission on Economic and Workforce Development and Community College Workforce Consortium (CCWC).



Michael Richmond

Dean of Instruction, Lake Washington Institute of Technology


Mr. Michael Richmond is a Dean of Instruction administrating for three meta-major schools. The School of Transportation, The School of Manufacturing and Culinary/Baking at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, Washington. Prior to this role, Mr. Richmond was a Tenured Professor at LWTech in the Automotive Repair Technician program for 12 years. He also worked as an automotive technician at Puget Sound area Ford Dealerships for 13 years. Mr. Richmond holds a Masters in Policy Studies from the University of Washington, a Bachelor in Business Management from Western Governors University and an Associates in Automotive Technology from Renton Technical College. He is currently enrolled in a PhD program for Organizational Leadership at Northwest University.
