Life Science Washington Institute’s Best of the Northwest Showcase to Celebrate Local Entrepreneurs


The Life Science Washington Institute (LSWI) is excited to host its first Best of the Northwest showcase on September 21st from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the offices of Perkins Coie. This premier complimentary event will highlight some of the most exciting up-and-coming life science startups working on the latest medical device, diagnostics, therapeutic, and digital health innovations in Washington and the larger Pacific Northwest region. Participating companies will have a chance to introduce their stories to an audience of investors and industry professionals through lightning round pitches. The event will then transition into a tradeshow-style affair where audience members will have a chance to have more in-depth conversations with presenters as well as vote for their favorite innovations. During the closing networking reception, the audience’s choice will be named Best in Show(case)!

China International Import Expo (CIIE)

November 5-10, 2018 | Shanghai

The CIIE is designed to attract exhibitions from overseas companies and organizations looking to enter or expand in the Chinese market. It is being organized as a counterpoint to the well-known Canton Fair in Guangzhou, which focuses on supporting Chinese exports by matching Chinese producers with foreign buyers.

The CIIE will host exhibition areas in the following categories: Consumer Electronics & Appliances; Apparel, Accessories & Consumer Goods; Automobiles; High-End Intelligent Equipment; Food & Agricultural Products; Medical Equipment & Medical Care Products; and Trade in Services (including Education and Tourism).
